Mining Global Group/Materials

What we trade

Seven books, from aggregates to critical raw materials

What we buy, sell and represent — and the specification a laboratory will check.

The catalog runs across seven books. Aggregates and construction minerals move the tonnage that pays for the machine. Industrial minerals and base metals are the steady trade. Critical and strategic raw materials — rare earths, tungsten, antimony, tantalum and niobium, graphite, lithium and titanium minerals — are where Europe is short. A separate book covers the refined metals and alloys that are never mined on their own, such as gallium, germanium, indium, rhenium, hafnium and scandium.

A further book covers industrial chemicals and fertilizer inputs: urea and technical urea, AdBlue, sulfur and sulfuric acid, ammonia and nitrogen solutions, phosphoric acid, DAP and MAP, NPK, potash, soda ash, caustic soda and water treatment chemicals. The last one covers secondary sources — tailings, slags, black mass and bauxite residue.

Every material is shown twice on the full page, as it comes out of the ground and as it leaves the plant, with the trade specification that a buyer’s laboratory will check.
